We are a small local charity based in Nantgaredig, Carmarthenshire.

We provide respite leisure services for children with learning disabilities from 3 to 19 years, which enables parents to spend more time with other members of their family, or to have some valuable time to themselves.

The children meet together on Saturdays to enjoy the company of their friends, to try out new experiences, to play games or to go out on trips, whatever they want to do.

Breakthro' has been established for over 15 years, and is managed by a committee of representatives of the service, as well as other interested professionals. The service is administered by a paid part-time Coordinator, along with a trained team of volunteers with a wealth of experience of working with children.

We have leased premises at Nantgaredig, from where we run our service of Saturday clubs, play schemes, coffee mornings, drop-in days and most of our fund-raising activities.
